Prior to the 1997 General Election, Prime Minister's Questions was held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, for 15 minutes – from 15:15 until 15:30. Tony Blair consolidated the two 15–minute sessions into one of 30 minutes, on a Wednesday.
